Poster Presentations

Max. poster measurements: 1.5m high x 1.2m wide or 59 in. high x 47 in. wide

The actual size of your poster is at your discretion.

Your poster layout should follow the layout of your abstract:
  • TITLE in UPPERCASE - The title should be emphasized by the use of a bold type face.
  • Authors with First Name (or initials) Last Name (eg., A. Smith1, B. Brown1, and C. Green2). Underline presenting author's name.
  • Provide institution information (eg., 1Department of Laboratory Medicine, and 2Proctor Foundation, University of California, San Francisco, CA, USA)
  • (Leave one blank line before starting the next section)
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • References

The text can be broken up by the inclusion of figures, charts and photos. To promote your work you may bring handouts for distribution to interested delegates. Material to affix the posters will be provided.

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations have been allotted 15 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions. There will be single projection capabilities only. All presentations must be prepared in PowerPoint format (Mac or PC).

You are required to electronically submit and approve your PowerPoint files at the symposium office by 6 PM the day prior to your scheduled presentation.
